Make a up a tray for the box to sit on and use tie down straps to secure it, you could bolt the box down then have the strap run over the lid.
A piece of plywood in the bottom with stop the bolts pulling thru the plastic box.
Hello, I have a Kings battery and battery box that I want to mount in the rear storage bin. I'd like to tie it down just in case the worst happens and the car goes arse over tit. We'd be ok, I guess as there is a cargo barrier, I just don't like the idea of the battery flailing around in the back. It's a LiPO4 one so I want to avoid damage to it. I think the regs require batteries to be secured.
The question is, how? Any ideas or suggestions?
TIA

Not sure whether yours is or was a 7 seater, but there are some pretty solid mountings points for the rear seats here, used mine to mount the air compressor as a case in point.
