Agree re the seats, and I find the driver's leg room better. (I need to investigate that, as I drove a D2 with leather electric seats and it was better than mine.)
Pretty much what Tins has said.
Check well for rust, particularly in the passenger footwell and bootspace floor.
The price would need to be very negotiable.
Having previously owned a D1, I found the seats more comfortable than my D2, I used to regularly drive between Brisbane and Cairns, always got out feeling fresh.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Definitely better in the D1 for under leg support(longer base cushion) compared to D2 with manual cloth or electric leather seats.
But the cushioning in the D2 is far superior to the D1. That is support and long term sitting.
I have a bung right leg(knee) and more than anything I need the under thigh support, so the longer base feels more comfy to me.
I can't remember if the D2s electric/leather seats moved back more than the manual seats, but D1 does give more rear travel for more leg stretching room. D2s manual seats don't let me fully stretch my legs(5 11) but D1 does.
If carrying stuff, D2 is better, D1 a bit short on length in the rear floor. Steering wheel is 1000% nicer in the D2 compared to std D1, which was the main reason I didn't want airbags in my D1(not possible in a D2) .. so I fitted an aftermarket stg wheel in my D1.

After speaking to the owner:
"Since I’ve had it I’ve replace the following Top and bottom radiator hoses Thermostat to a low temp one (runs around 82-85 degrees at normal running temp) Water pump Oil filter Fuel filter Air filter Oil (Castro magnetec) Transmission oil (Castro syntrans) Cat delete down pipe Egr delete Coolant This was all done as part of a trip prep that I was going on (Frazer island) that has now been cancelled due to health reasons) It drives well but if I was keeping I would add the following Tune (bog standard as far as I am aware) Change diff oils (I never got to that). The guy I bought it off was a youngster who had kept the oil service up but not much else from the looks of it someone had looked after it at some point and modified it with the 2” lift it had been covered in somekind of oil protection underneath and in the engine bay which I had been slowly cleaning off and re oiling It’s a very leak free Disco and when I too the photos of the underside I have noticed the rear seal on the front diff is moist so will need replacing at some point The paint is generally good apart from the bonnet and roof looks like someone has tried repainting badly but it’s never bothered me The plastic plenum cover (under the front windscreen) is poor and will need replacing There is one spot of rust on the top drivers side roof just above the windscreen"
Here are a few photos - though I am not sure what you can really see from below - would appreciate anything specific to look at here. To me, it just looks fine? I figure that rust could be easily fixed as well.

The windscreen will need to come out. That creates further issues with the fragile and expensive plastics.

I see this and think to myself ... is there any oil in anything at all? non oily LR undersides usually equate to oil having had drained out along the last trip ...
Nah! looks good and that rust isn't anything to worry about in Melb(unless you live bayside areas)
But like Ian said, that bubbled rust around screen could be ominous.

Check for rust in the usual spots, especially the chassis. Oil leaks are common but manageable. Regular servicing helps keep things running smoothly. Parts are available, but some can be pricey.
Check for chassis cracks near the steering box. It’s quite common. Can be repaired but often requires removing the steering box.
