A couple of days ago I changed my SLABS ECU for a supposedly good second hand one.
I didn't even think to see if it was out of a coil or air suspension car.
I plugged in Nanocom and adjusted the height, which worked.
However, I have just tried to raise it to extended height and nothing happens. The light comes on only whilst holding the switch in.
Also my suspension lowering function does not work.
So I plugged in Nanocom and went into SLS/settings and I found "Suspension type coil" and "ECU calibrated no".
So I set suspension to "Air" and calibration to "Yes". However, I could not find any way to save changes and as soon as I turned Nanocom off and on it was back to coil and calibration "No".
Have I got a dud ECU or am I missing something?
Dave.
I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

I don't know the Nanocom but would you not have to go through a calibration process after changing to air suspension rather than just changing the calibrated status? If no air calibrations exist then the coil to air change might be discarded.

Problem partly solved. When I tried to save settings I clicked both "Save" and "Open". Both these buttons said "SD card not present"
I did not realise that the "Write Settings" button at the top was it. I thought it was just a heading for the save and open function.
However, with it now set to AIR, my suspension raise and lower function still do not work.
It worked with the old ECU. I also found it strange that with ECU set to coils that the height calibration worked.
Any ideas?
Dave.

Problem solved. I went back for another look and found for some reason that it had gone back to coils.
It now all works as it should.
I do have another question though
On the pic below should UCU Calibrated be set to "Yes"

And on the below screen. Should there be entries here? And if so what?

It should be Yes to calibrated... in the second screen there should be the actual live readings from the height sensors but as long as it was calibrated with utility and it's on level dont do anything there, it's a menu to be used only if bran' new SLABS ECU is fitted... it's explained in nanocom's user guide

I dont understand what you mean...the guides for all the systems are free to download from BBS: Downloads & Support - NANOCOM Diagnostics
