IMHO the most common cause of the three amigos is a crook front wheel bearing. the two times I had one it was first the left then the right.
Do you have a Nanocom? It should tell you (incorrectly) which sensor is crook.

Hi, next time better tell the exact description of the code cos that number doesnt mean too much... afaik 4084 shown by hawkeye means "Front RH sensor intermittent output" and if that's what you get in 99% of cases a new hub is needed, 1% can be a wiring issue/corrosion in the ECU connector or ECU fault) ... give some contact spray in the sensor's connector(if it's not the hardwired type) and if still the same replace the hub ... usually ABS sensor faults are not intermittent and it's visible on stationary live data so a new sensor as long as it shows the same value as the others can be wasted money

SubscriberYes. although AFAIR it recognised a low voltage from my right rear which was just a dirty connector. I am just quoting something that I read somewhere on this forum. AFAIR it was correct on which front sensor was erratic, caused by the wheel bearing even though in both cases you could not tell the bearing was crook. The symptom was that the signal would drop out when travelling slowly. Once the fault was cleared it would stay cleared until AFAIR 20 occurrences occurred and the 3 amigos would reappear.

Thanks all for your responses I have gone over the abs carefully found no problems so far, the lights have not come back on so fingers crossed they stay away. Now for a bit of advice Sierrafery the code I gave is the code that was on my Hawk eye to say next time better tell the exact description of code here in Australia could be taken as aggressive. I understand your English is not your fist language, but I gave the code as it appeared as I am not in the habit of hiding what I have to say I will put it here so there is no mistaking how I feel about what I better do next time.
Ok, then my apologies that i was trying to help without any intention of being agressive(asking for clarity is not considered agressive nowhere here in Europe regardless of the language) but i'll take your advice and next time when somebody will post a code without description for everybody to guess what it is i'll not answer at all even if i know what's the issue... i have Hawkeye as well and it always shows the descriptions too attached to the numeric codes which are not something publicly listed all over the place like the OBD2 generic codes to be easy to find. However, if that code comes back(and i have the feeling it will) you can take my advice and replace that hub. Good luck

SupporterTo be honest mate, Sierrafery absolutely has better English than majority of people here and on the internet in general. Not sure why you've been put out of place by his reply, it was fine and justified. These forums are for discussion, and hopefully accurate help about issues, which requires all the information about the fault. We do not want to turn into the Facebook groups where someone asks "why is my car not turning on" with absolutely no backstory.
