Radiator Replacement Advice td5
Due to a mixture of stupidity (Blew my radiator while trying to vacuum bleed it) and bad luck (the spare radiator my mate had leaks from the top fan shroud screw), I'm in the market for a new radiator.
Searching on fleabay I can get the revised radiator that has the pipe from the oil cooler blocked off and the fuel cooler restricted.
I've searched the forums and can't find a definitive answer on this, for a EU2 10p TD5, when I replace it am I *required* to block off the oil cooler pipe or will the block in the radiator be enough?
Additionally, I've seen some people use the additional restrictor on the fuel cooler, if you don't use it, are there any other performance or overheating issues to be aware of?
Many Thanks

I would suggest blocking off the oil cooler at the oil cooler on the basis of the rubber hose between the oil cooler and metal pipe behind the head is likely to be half cooked by the turbo and for the effort might as well just replace it with a silicone cap now
