    Tune recommendations

    Howdy all,

I just recently got given a NNN (I count my lucky stars, should buy a lotto ticket ahaha) and am now considering a tune more heavily now.

I've seen different options on who to get it done through and was after some advice on what people have experienced. Looking for cost vs performance vs customer service/retuning in future

    1) Josè at td5 inside
    2) alive tuning
    3) empire tuning
    4) storm tuning
    5) shack here on the forums

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks for that!

I haven't actually been doing any tuning for a while due to work/life, but I've just started to do a bit again.

    Cheers

I'm surprised the Jose Fanboy/lynch mob haven't turned up yet to kill this thread.

I've heard good things from across the board, asking for peoples experiences vs the what the consensus is different

It all depends on what each individual expects from a tune. Full on competition, a slight improvement in torque for towing or something in between.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

A good tuner should be able to cater to most owners requirements, the way I try and tune should cover most bases, and I'd imagine most are similarly able to do the same.

Some of the early "duration hack" tunes however weren't so good!

Are you saying one size fits all, James? Or decent tuners can write individual tunes or various tunes to cover individual needs?
