Not that you need anything that big.
What the car is worth is irrelevant. It is how long you intend to keep it.

As I plan to never sell my D2, I would put an 8 speed in it tomorrow if I could.

    SWMBO is the problem

I recon I have spent well over 20K on mine since I purchased it.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

The D4 on 265/65R18 all terrain is just as good, or better off road than my 130 on 255/85R16 mud terrains, the main difference is I really dont want to get all the small dents and scuffs in the D4 that the 130 has, the D4 also has less than half the payload the 130 has, but the D4 is SUCH a good all round vehicle.

If push came to shove I could put 37" tyres on the 130, not realy possible on a D4, yes I know someone somewhere has probably done it.

As for the crank, mines a 2.7 and I keep telling myself their mutch better the the 3 litre ones

It had 17s on it for the first three years of its life, then when the tyres wore out i put the OEM 18s back on.
    I always ran BFG A/T.
Couldn't get any more than 60,000Km out of them though,i put that down to the IS all round, and a heap of ks on dirt roads.

    Hi Paul,
Did it come with 17s or 18s?
The spare is a 255/60R18 Pirelli that has never seen the road, and is dated 2012, same year as the car, I assumed it was the original spare.
It will get moved on before any trip even remotely remote.
    It currently has 265/60R18 Maxxis.
    Tony
