I was also looking at a auto with 180klms for $3500 which I could buy wholesale through work but I thought the one I brought was a better truck.
We just put a 96 tdi with 83 klms on it into stock at work and that one was very tempting as well but the budget wouldnt allow it.:(

If you dont have them I would suggest a dual battery setup, good car fridge, UHF, EPIRB (or HF radio or sat phone), a good tyre repair kit, full tool kit with spares and lots of beer for the around Australia trip! :)
