thats alot of ks for price, flatter style pattern did come on them but maybe just missed out with 2002 or could've possibly been changed from the poverty pack steels,(doubt it but)as it has flares i'd avoid it at 200,000
this is the car i'm getting on tues/wed. Carsguide - Vehicle details (dealer used)
its all good. i was just curious about the wheels. all the other d2's ive looked at have a flatter style 5 spoke pattern. are these the correct wheels for the year/model.
thanks.

No, they're not the correct wheels. Those are from an early D2. They changed in about 2000 (my 2001 has the later wheels).
ausdisco. in the adealide market 20k isnt alot for the k's. ive only found 1 other td5(manual) with 30k less on the clock and an my01 without any accessories for the same money. good history, drives nicely, no losseness anywhere in driveline and interior, and it really is in fantastic condition. a bit annoying about the wheels being from an eralier model, but they do have the michelin road style tyres on them still.
also what is bad about having the wheel arch flares.
thanks again.
Just guessing but I think the car may have had 18" rims originally & a previous owner has swapped them for 16" at some time.
They are not the correct rims for year & date of the car, however having said that there is nothing wrong with them.
Do you realise that the 2002 models can not have the Centre Diff Lock retro fitted unless you change the transfer case.
I would not worry about 200,000 kms to much as long as it has a good service record particularly from a LR dealer or specialist.
The price is OK make sure you get a warranty & get it checked by an experienced LR persons prior to the warranty expiring.
As a guide my nephew paid $16K for a 2001 with 240,000 with 12 mnths rego full service history etc but it did not have bullbar or snorkel. his drives fantastically.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Chuck
my 2001 has those wheels,,
I'd take my 20,000 and look in melbourne,,,

My 2001 TD5 also has those wheels 16x8. plus flares. 162000ks drives fine. payed about the same.
The wheels on the pictured vehicle for sale are only 16 x 7
The only 16x8 rims fitted to Disco II were 6 spoke, as fitted to country pack classic models. All other 16 inch rims are 7 inches wide. The rims pictured are 7 inch.
