A close look at the LR genuine wheel bearing hub, I can see that it's an OEM from Timken.

However, I've not found anyway of repairing a failed bearing hub. It seems that these are "sealed for life" products and the repair process is simply to replace.

Has anyone found a way of repairing old Discovery II wheel bearing hubs, perhaps even something simple like a strip and regrease?
