    2000 TD5 Auto 150K price advice/help pls

    Folks

Yes me again driving you mad with asks as getting ready to buy my second disco. I have a test drive of a plain TD5 auto with 150K on clock, with all log books, and I am informed mostly on roadway with little towing (boat) so I am informed. No accessories other than towbar. This vehicle does not have ace or sls, just the entry level 5 seater. Not that there is anything wrong with the base model.

Is 18K purchase about right for the 2000 year for a private sale one owner.

Thanks Steve, I probably just got excited first, and I should look at the private guides first, just found them on the net. That ends my looking for today, Geoff

that price might be ok for a prime speciman base model on a private sale but generally the words

    "towing a boat"

    would reflect less than perfection.

So id concur that its a little steep but might be haggleable down to a realistic price.

    wheres this?
Redbook, its not the be all and end all, but at least gives a guide. I used it plus taking a sample from carsales on 7 different similiar vehicles when I got my D2 to negotiate with the dealer,

Easily done , as per my post above, do some research first, guides like redbook along with drive and carsales to average out both private and dealer sales, I printed off the info for the dealer as opposed to just running off at the mouth to negotiate,
