    reprogram D2

Can you reprogram the D2 so the windows close when the door is locked?

also,, can you change the rear door to unlock when the non drivers doors unlock?

    1. I've never heard of that being done before. I would suspect fitting an aftermarket alarm system would be the only way for this to be done.

    2. The rear (tail) door should unlock with the other non-drivers doors. Does it operate with the central locking at all?

I too wish the D2 had the window close function! (Didn't the RR's have "Lazy Lock" or something?) - mainly because the stupid window switches have the auto-down function but not auto-up. Whose lack of foresight was that I wonder...Even my 20 year old Pajero had that...

If you find a way..please let me know!!!

Mmm, tailgate should unlock on second push of the keyfob button - assuming you're set to "single-point entry", otherwise one push should do all...weird.

Don't see why it should make any difference, but you haven't got the child safety lock (just under the latch) set on have you? Just a thought .
    Cheers

I had a look at reprogramming my D2 a few years ago and from memory the only thing that is changable via rovercom or the like, is to set the key fob to universal open or one press all open. Mine was set to press once for drivers door and twice for all other doors......drives me mad. Windows can only have one touch down in mine and I am pretty sure they cannot auto up when locked or even using buttons in the cab. Mine is a '99 though and not one of the higher spec models, although I would guess the computers are the same across the range and it's simply a case of each model having certain fucntions activated or not. Another guy in our club with a '99 P38 (Steinzy - on this forum) was able to change lots on his car via rovercom and I believe managed to get one touch up and down on all windows plus some other cool functions too I believe.
