2 bolts, one at each end, 15 minute job if you take your time.  What can make it difficult is when you take off a very overdue for replacement unit that has elongated the mounting holes.
Personally I wouldn't use an RTC damper.  Don't know what TD dampers are like, wouldn't touch their shocks as I've seen too many fail.  Admittedly they are good on warranty replacement, but its a bit of an inconvenience for the owner.  I prefer the Bilstien dampers, others will say different.
