    it does work off an ipod with one of those tape adaptor thingo's
    just cannot see what the radio station is at night

    It's better than my D1, but not by much...

    Ditch it, speakers, head unit, the lot! Put in new front splits + rear speakers with (removable - for when you want the space) bazooka sub in the back and an Alpine CDA 9884E head unit in - full speed iPod connectivity. Brilliant! Speakers can be chosen which do not lose the "factory" look.
