Question What do you call your landrover...

    Hi All,
Being an owner of a V25 Custom when I first got my L's, then upgrading to a VT750 (after 12 months), then a Shadow Sabre 1100 (for more power!!!) (motorbikes for those that don't know what I am on about).... plus having a 3 door proton hatch, I NEVER had a name for my 'machines'... now that I have a Land Rover... I do - Landy Princess.... Odd that I have given HER a name...
Reason why.... i'm not a princess at all!

So - do you call your landrover a HER or a HIM? What name have you given to your Land Rover and WHY?

--- Not sure if this is posted in the right area, but I am sure the mods will move it if not! -----

    Cheers,
    Lp

I have a S1 Discovery and it got named Lyndesay Dorothella (so definitely a girl - she has expensive taste at times...) and was named as such for no real reason at all. It just seemed to suit when it was mentioned during brainstorming!

A recently acquired ex-army '69 IIA 109" GS is yet to be named, but I'm sure a name will be chosen soon enough when one seems to just fit!

My old man had an 87 Rangie that he called Pig Dog, so I called my S1 Disco Bush Pig, always trying to catch me plus my rover is loud and always dirty. Seems to suit it well.

Mine is called Called Kevin after a poll on here. I also had an esky by this name alas he passed away almost 12 months ago. I think the name suits him as he is not to flashy but does the business.

Mine is Humphrey, on account of the hump on the roof, and the fact that I was going for a Camel Trophy look ... camel, hump, see?
It's kind of an English name as well, and the Disco is very much a Pommie car so it's apt.
Almost called it Humpty (as in Dumpty) when it fell off the trail shortly after I did the sandglow paint job, but a neighbour already has a Citroen 2CV that is named that, and actually has the name plastered on it in 6inch letters.

The day it almost became Humpty ...

PSi, much damage to Humpty after his "roll over, play dead"?
