The ABS module is in the engine bay. Look on the passenger side inner guard & see the big metal bit with brake pipes attached.
The wheel sensors are located in the hubs themselves.
I would start by having the fault codes checked first otherwise you could be chasing your tail here.

Hi Scouse, no not really as I am sure they will charge me accordingly by replacing rather than fixing. Also I am sure I will have to book it in rather than turn up.
I'm sure it will be fine as the more I read the more I realise that it's not urgent.
Something I would like to try to fix myself, however I just do not have the time these days. Looks like another trip to range rov, but I am heading to HK on monday so by the time I get back and get it booked in it will be mid Jan.
Just wanted the car right if the missus has to drive it when I am away.
Cheers
Thanks Scouse, yes agree I think it best to have the fault codes checked, however without going into great depths I will have a look as I would like to start learning more about this car and rectifying issues.
I'll have to book it in at Range Rov anyway as it is leaking oil from the transfer case which they fixed last time.
Thanks!
Depends on where you are...
If you are in/near Sydney, I would recommend seeing Graeme Cooper automotive for diagnosis. It will cost you some money but:
1) They won't arbitrarily fix things without asking unless it's safety related and
2) They won't necessarily advocate replacement "just to make the money".
Oh, and while you were posting the original post, they were diagnosing our ES, so they are open (or at least were yesterday).

I have just moved into a 2001 D2 Petrol.
Not long after purchasing the "3 Amigos" came on.
Seems hitting potholes will do it in my case!
Also the SRS comes on from time to time then they all have a rest for awhile.
My first thought was corrosion of the fuse box from coolant overflow.
I say that as that was the problem I encountered with my old P38A when the dealer changed the hoses on a recall. Mind you it took them a month before they would try another fuse box.
Is this a problem the D2 suffers from or is it as above 2 issues. One as per Ladas solution and perhaps a sensor for the SRS?

Has only happened twice in 8 years..
Could be a faulty sensor or, a broken wire to the sensor. My td5 did this out the back of Karratha in W.A. a few years ago. I contacted the local agents and was told that it was o.k. to drive as normal. Rocked into the Karratha agents and a computer check was informed of a r/h front broken wire/sensor. No immediate replacement available, so had it replaced in Perth 5 weeks later.
The second time was caused through non genuine brake pads. In some instances it appears the dust can cause them to resonate/vibrate and this upsets the sensors. Computor has to be reset.
