    engaging CDL & driving D2

g'day, I have to take the front drive shaft off my D2 to be repaired. If i engage my CDL can i drive car as per normal (2wd) with drive shaft removed? I've read the procedure in past posts and luckily i have CDL. Cheers.

Yes I have done this as well. Just be really careful as the handling of the car will change severely.

Yes no dramas as others have said. This is how a I drove back to Adelaide from bordertown after doing the border Track. Drives strange and you get a bit of backlash apart from that its all good.

    Cheers
