It probably depends on where you live.

Im in Darwin, but cant get stuff all 4 L/Rovers up here so would assume they are a L/rover part or would some like CBC sell them? I get all my stuff from either SA or WA when I need it.

I am pretty sure that these are a standard U-joint, in which case the best place, pretty much regardless of where you are, will be the local bearing supplier. In my experience they will have a cross reference of manufacturer part numbers (including Landrover), and also a (not necessarily reliable) cross reference by vehicle model. But to be certain take in a specimen, or, in the case of U-joints, measurements.

Hi, all 3 uni joints on the front tail shaft are the same. Get a price from the Darwin Land Rover dealer for the front single joint and if this is reasonable, get them from there. Else there are some Land Rover suppliers around the country which do express mail orders - would be overnight to Darwin.

For example, other than dealers, here in Sydney we have (alphabetical order) British Off Road, Bruce Davis Motor Works, Graeme Cooper, Karcraft, Land vehicle spares, Range Parts, Rovercraft, TR Spares, and probably a few I missed. Not all of these do mail orders. Similar suppliers exist around the country.

Then there are the likes of Hardy Splicer, uni / tailshaft suppliers / repairers.

These are available for about $20 each. First inspect or have inspected the centre of the double cardon for any seal damage or movement as I believe these are an unservicable item.

    Erich.
