    Rear Work Light

I want to install a rear work light for my D2. I already have a telescopic light pole. Has anyone here installed one? Im interested in how you mounted it and if its telescopic, what sort of wire you used. Im thinking of using "pigs tail wire" like the sorta stuff on uhfs, as I dont want any excess wire hanging out underneath when the light is lowered. Any suggestions and pictures would be greatly appreciated.
    Kind Regards
    Hendrik

I installed one on my D1 when I put the Kaymar carrier on it. Pigstail like you say and then I wired it along the carrier arm and to a plug behind the rear bumper so it could be removed - but wasn't obvious. You could also pass the wiring through the wiper's washer grommet on the rear door and then into the back corner to wire in.

From memory I used a waterproof two pin connector. The wire I picked up from a friend. Also you only need the pigtail on the extension pole section of the pole and I now remember I had a switch there.
