Thread: The 3 Amigos

Same here Baz.

I have had the 3 amigos for about 2 weeks. It occured sitting at the traffic lights Early indications prove that it is the right rear. It is very loose.


I was going to put a call out to McDisco for a Nanocom but let that go as he is involved with the Upway fires and the surrounding areas. Busy lad, I imagine.

So reluctantly I purchased a Nanocom. Just got to get my head around it

Just had mine come up yesterday on the way to work. nice flat straight road and just slowing down.
Had it up to discovery automotive here in wangara today and cleared. left hand front sensor came up as the culprit. I will see how it goes as i am going on the beach camping this long weekend

I think the major cause for this is, brake wear, squealing brakes and dirty or loose connectors.

This was the first time in 2yrs that mine have come on, strangely my brakes squeal like buggery, but it doesn't seem to affect them.

Gday All,It may seem like a dumb question, but what are the 3 amigos, ! is ABS light.What are the other 2 and why are they so important?

ABS light, traction control and hill desent lights. a fault in the wheel speed sensors will activate a fault in the system and cause these 3 lights to iluminate, there are other causes too but this one seems to be the most common.
It can disable all 3 systems or cause them to work not as efficient as far as I know

Happy to help Baz! I figure the more it gets used in different applications the better. It'll always be carried when on trips away so anyone who needs it for resetting stuff should just yell out.
