Question TD5 diesel cooler coolant leak

My very recently aquired 2001 disco just piddled on the driveway. Its coolant comming from the rear of the diesel cooler, where the rubber end fitting suposedly seals in the cooler cylinder. Replacment quoted at $800. Doese any body know if I can repair it?

Yes, I just had mine done.
It cost $100.00 plus remove & refit labour.

    Fix it yourself

get yourself two BS225 orings and repair it yourself. Remove the two clamps each end of the tube and the plastic fittings can be removed from each end of the tube to get access to the leaking Orings . the two clamps on each end of the cylinder can be a bugger though to reinstall unless you have the correct tool. best use narrow section worm clamps when you put it back together or as a temp repair, heavy tie wraps.
