    Td5

    Hi all,
    just got my FL written off last week after it was hit by a tram
    and now thinking getting a Disco Td5.

    What are common problem with Td5 and which year should I get? chhers

    The 03MY onwards would be the better one to look for. The twin headlights are an improvement and they come with the CDL.

    Umm.....the classics were a run out & had a few other changes...,came in town & country,having different minor changes

    Actually my budget will only get me 1999-2001 Disco 2. What to look for when inspecting disco for that year?

    Do a search on this as there have just been several such questions.

    get a cheaper one and spend some cash on extras and getting it up to date.

    I saw on the net, 2003 Td5 280000km for $15k and 2000 Td5 185000 for $15k. Which one should I go for?

    I heard 2002 and above is more reliable as the have steel dowel already.
