Sorry, I forgot to say.Bad day.
The slider is 25/75 box with the pipe welded straight to it (dipped gal), box runs full length of sill, small angle welded on pipe side of box with cut outs to match seams and shapes in sill, jacked slider into sill so it is hard pressed against sill and used stainless (7mm from memory) screws with bolt heads every 150mm along both sides, inside is through the seam of the sill, out side through angle. Weight of impact is distributed through full length of slider (theory).
Plastic over the top. I should wash the car and paint the sliders, they would look a lot better then.
