I might do the checker plate thing on the sides, still deciding, thanks for the idea. I put some on the back just to stop the paint from rubbing off, sadly i couldn't find any black checkerplate, so the shiny stuff had to suffice.
Yes I do like that shed, the only problem is that is normally takes me twice as long to do something in there, as I'm always looking for tools and not being able to find them. Some major organising needs to be done.

    Good looking bar,
Its great not having to worry about the old plastic dragging behind the car any more

    Hey Baffle
I did cut a bit off, but maybe not as much as you did. I like you you braced your rear bar against the chassis, very good idea. I haven't tested mine out yet, but like you say its much better than the plastic thing that keeps getting ripped off.

Nice work mate! Good idea cutting the rear quarter panels...they always take a crunching if you come down hard enough.

Thanks. Yeah I'd rather cut them than have them scrunched up, which makes cutting harder. McDisco you have a custom rear bar don't you, I think I've seen pics of it but can't seam to find them anywhere.

Here are some better photos taken in daylight. I put some checker plate across the top of the bar, just for more grip. Still deciding whether I want to run it the whole length of the bar or leave it as it is, what do you guys think...?

Mate that looks brilliant, make sure you do the extra bracing, those standard mounts on the D2 are bloody weak as, I still need to do on mine too, I'm bending the brackets way too much now.
