Would it be too much to ask to split the Discovery forum into D1 & D2 as there really are many differences between the two? I often drop on to this forum and often click on a thread that is not for a D2 so have to click out and keep looking.
No biggie but would be easier to track the different issues with each.

well you bloody snob you !!...lol...........
cheers
As you add sections you have to search more areas to get the same info. there is also a greater probability of repeat threads.
I agree though there are probably more reasons to have the classic RR and D1 sections together, based on driveline and suspension similarities, than D1 & D2.
Perhaps we could flick you off to the defender area if you dont like us povo D1 drivers.![]()

Nothing to do with snobbery or "povo" D1 drivers as you put it, simply wondering if it is possibleAs pointed out, the D1 and D2 are very different beasts and as such, a separate section for each i'm sure would make life easier for many owners of both these superb cars.......unless of course I am missing something

Aye, Mick (a lover of all land Rovers regardless of vintage.....the drivers can sometimes be a bit precious though)
I reckon we just rid ourselves of the D2 altogether. Its got all that new fangled watts link suspension and Bosch electronics, hardly a true land rover
I agree on the idea of separating D2 and D1 though. The threads that always get me are the tyre and suspension threads. It seems 33's will fit on a D2 quite easily but not a D1 and that makes me upset
But theres heaps of threads popping up now regarding specifically D2 issues which makes it more difficult to locate the more important D1 threads.
I'm of the opinion that D2's suck ....lol....untill i can get a Sahara bar on my D1...D2's suck!!!...........
