I got my Milford from TRS in SA for 250 plus freight, took about 3 hours to fit, and I have only set it up for the rear most position as I will never move it forward (joy of kids).

However I thought the whole idea of removing the rear handles in the 7 seater to fit the upper support arms under a crap idea. So with some gentle bending they now come under them. Also the bolts that they give are ridiculously long, Milford could do better.

Icefrye has the install instructions on a website. Sorry forgotten link.

With the dual position cargo barriers, do Milford supply the brackets etc to fit the barrier in both positions. The reason I ask is that ARB charge $281 to fit a dual position barrier for the D2 and D1, but only $128 to fit a single position barrier in the D3.

I had a Milford dual position barrier installed in my D2 about 18 months ago but the ARB agent only installed behind the second row of seats. Since the fitting cost for a single position barrier is less than half the price, I'm wondering if I may have been ripped off.

On the D2's the barrier comes as a single position and you need to pay the extra for the additional bits for the second position. At least that's what it was back in 2003.

That's what I originally thought, but now I'm wondering why they are charging twice as much for a D1 and D2 compared to a D3 if they are all only a single mount position.

Without hijacking this tread, but it may be helpful to all, when fitting the barrier in the forward position the lower brackets are too long & reach past the holes.
Do they need to be removed & replaced by the top short brackets as the length appears similar? Top extensions seems fine.

The barrier was installed by an Approved Installer & the extensions have never been unpacked until today, so atm, the bottom is not fixed & rests against the seat tubular frames.

    That can't be right.

Edited: Seems I am missing 2 x short lower "brackets" which appear to fit to the same lower mounting screw according to Ron's posted details. BUGGER!
I only ever received the sealed packet containing the long extensions. At least I now know. Thanks Ron.
