Hey Franz - I've read enough of the threads to expect some sort of damage at some point :) The front bumper and diff got a few minor scrapes, but nothing got peeled off - it'll come I'm sure. The photo's do the Disco well - it's not really all that shiny - lots of scratches etc all over it. I'm hoping to upgrade to an RRS at some point in the not too distant future, so it's relatively disposable.

Saunders opened up a new track on the 1st of Aug Epic, a really nice new climb in there, so go check it out!

This is my new, (since Feb) family friendly Disco.

Since then i have added:-
-engine saver low coolant alarm
-side step/ slidder bars
-redarch brake controler
-2" dobbinson heavy springs
-2" Koni heavy track shocks
-2" braided brake lines
-265x75x16 Micky thompsons MTZ (borrowed off the other disco)
-More planned but not enought time so far.
Now it looks like this and gets used like this.:D

1st gear low range CDL in just off idle and you could just hear the odd tyre slip on the granite rock face.

Hi, been an avid reader of this forum for some time and really enjoyed looking at other members vehicles (often with envy...).. Finally went on trip and got some images. The first is before heading off - nice new tyres! The second showing my knocked up storage with fridge slide (needs to be covered yet but didn't have time before we left. Third is on top of Big Red with my mates 90 Series Prado and finally camping along the QA line last week. Can't wait to do more. Disco is a 99 TD5, Ultimate suspension 2" lift and shocks, polyair springs, home made CDL. Went very well, used about 200 mls oil in 3600 km (well maybe it leaked it!), no water, happy days! Air filter was getting a lot of dust from mudguard - removed the little fitting into the mudguard so it sucked air from the engine compartment and that was much better. Snorkel next on the list! Used an ArkPak to power the fridge and charge iPad etc and as a backup starter battery.

Used PDF's because I couldn't figure how to put the images in??

This is my rig. It was all stock before I bought it in march 2011.

All the usual specs, dual battery, winch, driving lights, diff guards, CDL, cooper stt's, 2 inch lift, bash plate, de-catted, centre muffler removed, egr removed, cb radio.

Nice setup and clean rig. I think I have seen yours at wyndham village car park.
