Pic is upside down because we are Australian, and my inability to figure out how to invert it..
Long time lurker, first time poster. I was considering a disco for a while and initially looked at the later D1's but when a cheap 2000 D2 TD5 popped up it was to hard too say no. So I present an introduction to my first Disco, awaiting blue slip in this picture. Also a quick word of thanks to the forum in general for the mountains of useful info, in particular the warning signs of imminent universal joint failure. The sound of angry chirping meant a trip to CBC this morning and some tinkering for the weekend, rather than the horror of a trashed transmission. Scored a cheap factory bar on ebay, so many more pics to come. Thinking of calling her Petra, as in petrified about what is going to break next...meanwhile the list of current to do's is not short already, 3 amigos obviously, abs sensor, drivers door lock, drivers power window, headliner etc. She came with a rhino racks, cargo barrier and OME nitro shocks though so I'm pretty happy so far.

That's perfect ........ You muppet!![]()
This was in Melb 2 weeks ago. Thought the dash was going to melt. Not trying to one-up you Muppet, you just reminded me of the same pic that i took. It actually hit 48 for a moment after the pic, then the cool change hit. Hate to think of how hot it gets IN the cab when parked.
