Bought it here in the UK "used", there are lot of used ones around in the states as more people tended to pay the strong money for them over there and also a few companies that make "copies" of the SD racks as well

LandyRax items - Get great deals on land rover roof rack, discovery rack items on eBay.co.uk Shops! is another but they are not quite as good as the genuine Safety Devices ones like I have and what was fitted to the G4 discoverys, although Landyrax does offer a "few" different versions
Thanks for the rapid response. I didn;t realise you were in the UK. I am originally from the UK (Nottingham) and have been here here in Australia now for 12 years. Been looking for the style of roof rack you have for ages but only seem to come up with USA sites. I'll check out the web sites you suggested and see what I come up with. Tradesman Roofracks in Bayswater once made a similar style but I believe they no longer take orders for these racks.
You must be able to get them from somewhere.
Andy Revill has one on his Disco, and he's in Tassie.
