Really, well thats not good if ARB are doing it that way, they just dont look right if installed wrong if you ask me, but its surprising how many I see upside down.
I suppose it could be left to personal choice, but they are def marked LH and RH
They seem to look "right" this way .... no ? as they sit under the cover straps properely etc.

Hi all, really awesome website.
About time I posted some pics. I've had the disco for a year now, didn't do a great deal until the last 2 months really. It's been really fun owning it. We go camping a lot and I could probably keep doing what I've been doing without modding it, but it's been quite fun fitting and making things for it.

chopped front bar (I cracked it pretty bad so I pretty much just cut out the cracks :))
Homemade rear bar
04 D2 CDL lever fitted
Ally roof rack (came with some old spotties not wired up)
Kings 2" std front and 2" HD rear (APE Suspension in Perth - Phil is a good bloke)
Raw Max Nitro Shocks (Ape Suspension)
BFG KM2 265/75

To Do List:
CB + CD player
Roof spotties (front and rear) wired up.
slide for the fridge and a cage to go around it so I can utilise the space above it, without restricting access.
fab up some swing arms for the rear bar - tire + jerry can
rock sliders - me and a mate just bought a pneumatic operated hydraulic bender so we'll be making some soon.
bumper - only choices are TJM or ARB - to me they stick out the front a bit much. I'll probably end up making a tubular one that hugs the nose better.

Mate the '99 D2 is fitted with airbags (SRS type) so when you mention that you are thinking about making your own front bar watch out for the crush can issue.

Recently acquired a 2004 discovery 2 with 100,000 on the clock for just under 20k. The car was never used off road, until now :D
Fitted an ARB bar, safari snorkel and a pair of lighforce 170's.
Many more mods to come, hopefully!
