Hey all,
I have the ARB side steps on my Disco and after a couple of trips down to Yalwal I now have chequer plate gouges on the front PS door and rear DS door from the steps flexing on some of the larger rock steps.
Granted they are not rock sliders but has anyone modifed them to stop the flexing? I was thinking in the lines of say another outrigger off the chassis or perhaps removing the plastic sill protector and welding a SHS on top of the outriggers under the sill.
Easiest option would be to replace the steps with rock sliders but the missus uses them.

I've seen the clearance (or lack off) these have and in my opinion they are way to close to the bottom of the doors, I'd be finding a way of spacing them so the give at least a 10mm gap under the doors as well as bracing them.
