Thread: HELP! broken hose on SLS exhaust silencer

I was replacing the SLS compressor on my Disco, and the exhaust hose that runs from the compressor to the Air intake/exhaust silencer has broken, at the silencer end.

It looks like the hose originally goes over part of another hose or nipple that comes out of the silencer.
This has broken flush with the hole on the silencer.
The silencer looks like it's a sealed unit? Is it?

So.....
How can I fix this?
Can these silencers be opened/repaired, or have new hoses fitted?
ANy other suggestions? (despite getting coils!!)

OK, I've just removed the little bastard, and it is sealed, nonserviceable and the nipple coming out is a plastic POS as usual. GRRRRRRR
