    Evaporative emission system purge valve

    I have just re-done the inlet manifold gasket for a V8 D2 - thanks to the backfire from LPG

    when i put the obd reader on I get Evaporative emission system purge valve has open circuit

    Everything looks like it has been put back together

    any suggestions

    Where is this "Evaporative emission system purge valve"? I am not familiar with it...

    To the left of the top plenum chanmber, connects into the back of the air inlet bit - this is on the passenger side, its held by a metal bracket, looks like a little black plastic cylinder
