thermostat and related guff
Had a temp rise in travelling[02 TD5 120thou] expansion tank lid loose fluid comming from overflow hose, refilled, booked in to check. Had a look myself,
unable to detect any leaks of coolant did find fuel leak[block at rear ofhead].
REplaced coolant, thermostat, fuel block and while they were at it diff oils trans
oil and filter kit, transfer oil. They noticed a very slow almost unnoticeable
seepage of coolant from water pump--I'm running out of the folding stuff fast-- no noticeable temp changes no loss of coolant. Have been told that the pump will seep when cold or cooling but does not effect normal running-
whats' the expert forums opinion??? How difficult to change pump myself?

Hopefully not a head gasket issue
Was the water pump weeping from the telltale hole, ir just the general area ? I have an occasional static weep from the telltale but have just found a leak from the top hose fitting that dribbles down and out from underneath the pump

I have a small leak from the top hose fitting. You need to replace the original clamp with normal clamp. So far so good *touch wood*
