    always start the car with CDL disengaged. if CDL locked is sensed when the ignition is switched on then the ABS/TC/HDC is de-activated

    try and remember to unlock the CDL before you turn the engine off. Mine often needs to run a short distance before the warning light goes out.

    Just a quick point, "if" you leave the wire connected, and start with the CDL engaged it's ONLY the TC that is turned off completely, The ABS and HDC will still work, but at reduced parameters. I "personally" like these to be at 100% all the time..

    Still don't get why anyone would want to have the CDL and no TC, adding any "physical" locks reduces the amount the TC works anyway, you will find with the CDL the TC probably comes on 70-80% less than it does with no CDL.

    The Ashcroft kit is a modified Factory lever, it only has one cable as you use your existing High / low cable. the new cable is for the CDL nipple operation only.
