    Tank Size

    Hi guys,

    I'm sure this has been asked before, but could someone let me know what the tank size is on my Disco TD5 Series II? i'm assuming it's around 80lt?

    Ah, actually, it's 95L ... plus according to others, you can squeeze up to maybe another 10L in ontop of that if you fill the last bit r e a l s l o w l y ...

    There must be a lot left when the warning light comes on, I did about 80kms tonight with the light on & only squeezed in 80 litres.

    The light for the diesel is designed to come on when approx 8 litres left. I back-off the throttle a bit if I've still got 80K to get home to make sure I get there.

    Just a query then, is the Petrol 85 litres?

    And does anyone know with how many litres left does the light come on for the Petrol?

    I think I may have been under estimating capacity.

    I believe the Td5 & V8 both have 95L tanks.

    I would imagine with both tanks being the same,,
    warning lights would come on with the same amount left,,





    and from light on--
    I get about 35kays then-

    but my fuel gauge doesnt move for the first 100 kays,,,

    should get a TD5 pedro! i can get 100k when the light goes on
