    fluctuation in revs

    hi all....

    got an 01 td5...

    when accelerating from about 50 to 80 i get a noticeable loss in power and a fluctuation in revs....also try and over take and it just doesnt want to play the game (again no power)....any ideas wat this might be or direct me to a thread that can help?

    oh- the one liner that just flitted through my mind

    any one of a number of TD5 complaints,,
    clean your maf,
    get rid of your EGR,
    check for turbo hose delamination,

    a quick search in THIS forum will give heaps of ideas,,,

    I would also look at the ECU for oil contamination due ot the injector harness leaking.
