Any Ideas
It was just coincidence that after wiring the power supply to my CB radio I couldn't start my Disco. I went to move the car and as soon as I turned the key in the ignition the car appeared to fire but didn't start and the hazard lights started flashing. Removed the key and the hazard lights remained flashing. I rang Barbagallos and was told to check the inertia switch, I pressed it but it made no difference. In the end I removed the negative battery lead and everything was back to normal after I refitted the lead. As far as the CB is concerned, it is powered directly from the battery through a 5amp fuse, therefore has no influence on the electrics. One positive from ringing Barbagallos was obtaining my radio and EKA security codes. Anyone have any ideas or had a similar problem.

Sorry cant help, but you must be the only person to ever get something out of barbagellos for free... They would have to top my list of the worst L/R people to deal with in Australia.
I made the mistake of buying my first Disco from them...
Cheers Ean

Sounds like the car was in "passive" immobilization to me.
Did you try to shut all the doors then lock / unlock with remote and then try to start ?
