I kind of wish I hadn't got a roof to floor type. Me & a couple of mates were setting up chicanes for the Targa West Rally this year & they use those orange bollards with the separate bases you see at roadworks. One of the bollards kept rolling & locking the rear door & holding the lock down when you tried to unlock it. Total pain in the bum, funny 5 mins later though.

    Gidday,

I recently installed a new Milford cargo barrier into my MY03 V8 7 seater HSE with rear air and twin sunroofs. Even though Milford told me it wouldn't fit, it did - no apparent problems with either the sunroof or rear air. The job falls into the "***** of a job category" with metal drill filings going everywhere (put down a catch sheet first) and working in awkward spaces. You need to drill holes for the top and bottom mounts. Takes about two hours if you have all the tools and know how to use them (centre punch, drill bits (largest was 22mm I think), electric drill, screwdrivers etc).

And yep, my rear door didn't want to open after a long dusty trip, however the problem can be fixed by repeatedly mouthing obscenities (discreetly if the kids are watching) and giving the latch a bit more grunt.

    Hope this helps.

    Mick (The other one)
