    D2 V8 idling rough

Over the last week at start up the v8 will run rough until you give it a boot full & then seems to run fine from there on. It's not every start up either; after 2 days in the garage this morning it was perfect. I'm about to get the 110k service done with the plugs replaced so I'm hoping that solves the problem. Could there be anything else I need to look for?

Had a similar problem with mine a while a back.
A lot was hinted at that it was the MAF, but it was a new one, the leads, or the plugs.
Turned out to be a single O2 sensor.
Try them before replacing the MAF, works out WAY cheaper than doing the MAF first only to find out it WAS the O2 sensors after all!

Unfortunately Nanacoms won't work with the V8, but any generic OBD-II reader should tell you if there is a prob with the O2 sensors (how I found mine).

    Cheers,
