Hoping someone can help me before i make my mechanic very rich!!
I have a d2 v8 duel fuel with 2inch lift and 265 muddies. Trying to get over three logs on the track and ended up beached!!!!Damage to the side steps and sills. Got snatched out (by GQ how embarassing)
There seems to be a noise coming from the rear seems to increase on acceleration and decrease when foot is off the accelerator but can be intermittant. There doesnt seem to be any damage underneath but 2 scrape marks on the muffler.
Apart from this noise the car is driving great?????
If any one has any ideas that would be great
Thanks Angela

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
yep what JC said but also check the handbrake, flange bolts and the diff pinion, front and rear.
we had an FFR with similar symptoms after it was abused on a drivers course.
the propshaft was all good by eye and feel including running up on the hoist subsequent removal revealed stretched bolts on the diff flange. Replacing them without replacing the shaft cured it.

Don't if this will help. Had a knocking noise after a trip to Dingo Tops.Would come and go, worse under acceleration, found the mud flap had come loose and was hitting the floor & tail pipe.
