heh, alternator is my only concern. got over 200AH of batteries in the 4wd plus an additional 200AH in the caravan if i chose to hook them up with the anderson plug.

i got a 55 watt HID hi/low kit off ebay stealers for around $150 delivered. works a treat. then got a 55 watt kit for the spotties for about $100 delivered and was super simple install. they work well and use way less power than a normal set of h/lights and spotties, so hopefully wont tax too much with the ones on top. might even HID them some stage as the kits are soo cheap now.
my only concern is the HID balasts for the spotties are "waterproof" just not sure how waterproof. time will tell i guess.

    Kits

Having just bought a Disco 2, I do have a set of LightForce 240's and was wondering is it worth while getting a LR foglight wiring kit/ Additional lighting wiring kit or just the switchs and getting a sparky to wiring them up?

Stick clear of using the LR loom for driving lights. I would seriously consider buying this kit relays

I have it fitted to my D2 and it made a difference. High quality relays and heavy wiring is supplied along with all the other goodies. If you're not in the market for this kit and don't like the idea of DIY then get an auto elect to do it for you.

Thanks, it also answers a question I was about to ask.

Will the defender loom kit fit or go with the standard kit?

    Emailing them for an answer...

Drivesafe (Tim) on this forum is the owner of Traxide so you can PM him also. He's very helpful.
