Bacchus sure did get hit today, no shortage of puddles!

I don't really know the cause of the hum but if concerned after hitting a volume of water I would suggest:
    - Check fan belt is in place
    - Check fan is not damaged and catching on anything
    - Check plastic splash guard under radiator is still in place and not rubbing
    - Do you have a snorkel?
    - Open the airbox and check for water ingress
    - Check wheel arch linings and ensure still in place and not rubbing on tyres

    for starters...

If the flood levels rise too much your all welcome to bring your tents and set up in the back yard, Not so sure about Baccus Marsh being on the better side of the cutting?

I had similar awhile ago after hitting some water in Wombat. Found the front passenger side inner guard had swung around on the metal bracket and was rubbing against the wheel.
