This is what the Mickey Thompsons 265/75/16 look like.

And you will need to keep an eye on your speed, 10% is about 6 points as i found out on news years Eve.

Heard about that. I will also try Brittish.
At the moment the D2 goes like a train and I am happy with it.
Power should be sufficient for those 265's.

Fill a bucket of water and then try to lift it with the very end of a broom stick. The power goes in trying to turn the big tyres, you get better fuel economy if you are gentle but less punch if you are zooming about town. It's still pretty good...

Don't worry about it, I ran 32s for ages and have run 35s with the original gearing until recently, the v8 pulls it fine. I recon my economy was better .265s you will hardly notice and the positives out way .

Got the 265x75x16 BFG A/T not bad but would like the BFG M/T next time as should be more grippy on the rougher stuff .The A/Ts are great on road and are wearing well so looks like its gunna be a while until I get my Muddies.
Also 110kmh at 2100rpm with Davis chip never worked out the economy but seems Ok also tow trailer Jayco Expanda .Obviously better without that.
