    Just under 1500rpm to 4000rpm.
No need to go over 3000rpm though.
Can drive on open road at just above 1250rpm in 4th, floor it and the TD5 just goes.
    Does the same in 5th.

While toasting a tojo the other week I saw 3.5. It was still pulling like a train but I just changed up anyway.

I've seen 4K+ leaving a BMW M5 diesel in my wake..standard ECU. Got the trick of a few revs up so no turbo lag! My mate has a Landbruiser 4.5LTDV8 & I can leave him for dead any day. Cheers..B

I am due to a fuel map upgrade with a nanocom,Gary from TD5 alive asked me to send him a live fueling data file?(fu file).
He asked me to rev on 3rd and 4th gear to the limiter, reported to be at 4650rpm,i tried hard, covered my ears, feeded my body with COLD blood and did it.
Td5 coped well till 4200 rpm, then i tortured the poor disco till 4600 rpm-seemed like ages to reach it.
I did it twice and never again, now i need a front crankshaft seal(timing cover) (coincidence?)
    PS
I felt like a sick astard when doing this, now i 'll give my disco a good service to even the pain.

Oh yeah! I know I could rev it more as at 3.5 it's pulling like a train but why bother?

    4200rpm is the max rpm
4850rpm is where the limiter activates
5450??rpm is the max revs when over-running the motor.
Autos max shift is somewhere around 4200-4250 depending on how fast it all happens.
    Cheers

I reckon my Chipped/Intercooled isn't as quick as a TDV8 Landcruiser Ute at highway speeds.
    Cheers

I think your Disco goes to Limp mode and you have a problem with this:

I had this problem and what a transform of the Disco after I changed it! Don't forget the vacumlines (3)

BTW Try to rev in neutral to 4000:ish if you can rev it, its most likely WGV

Really? My 110km/h seems to be the same as a LC doing 110km/h

But seriously, mate... Either your Disco needs a diet, or your not powered right
