    Hi all,
Due to a bit of rain here(downstream toowoomba) and some water crossingsmy td5 has started popping the 3 amigos up.No problems for last couple of years except egr valve stuck open fault.
When I check with nanocom ....No faults logged...Can clear with key (the amigos)
any idea what the prop is

Try removing the wheels and giving the hubs a good clean. Had a play in some mud over a week ago and only yesterday had them come up (without fault). Gave it a pressure wash and all good. Also removed all the backing plates, will make it easier to clean next time. Rears come off without any work, fronts need to pull caliper as well.

Did you get right into the back of the hub around the sensor? I pressure washed, full left lock into the back of the RH hub and vice versa. Rotate 1/4 turn clean and repeat etc. I kept washing until it came out clean and stopped making noises

Not trying to be smart, are you checking the correct ECU function with nanocom??? Which function are you using???
All 3 amigoe faults SHOULD register a fault.

I had the 3 wogs (ding ding ding... ) but no Dirty Sanchez like i had been getting previously at Kalbarri but a restart saw it disappear without even registering a count. Checked it on Nanocom and nothing. Had this twice now and both times was the result of a right hand turn so possibly a hub glitch.
Pulled both front sensors prior to going away and both were good, grease was still blue and exciter ring was spotless.

    a quick update...
cleaned mud a crap from computer and now I can read the fault.
    Shuttle valve (xxxtimes)
checked the pins and no res on multimeter.
Will prob do the rewire on the shuttle valve as soon as poss.
Strange thing, fault comes up around town but last weekend I covered about 80 ks on really bad back roads(??) tracks and no problems.
Was thinking of moving up to d3 but after the way this thing went last weekend not so sure now.The d2 is pretty good working in pure crap.
Will update when shuttle valves repaired.

So sounding like an old nag here I know.........Have you done the basics?

Earth Points x 2 behind the passenger headlight panel.
Earth point x 1 behind the passenger kick panel inside.
Check and clean plugs to Modulator.

Amigoes which reset with ignition are SVS/ modulator/ Earth related while those who stay after 3 ignition resets are Sensor related.

I wouldnt be doing any mods until I was sure the other stuff was good.
