    New Nanocom Evolution News

    Hi everyone
Today i received an email from Mattia the Contact person
    for Nanocom
Apparently the New Version is Out very soon with a lot of tricks up it's sleeve
IT will do all the same functions as the old one, BUT with a easy and more user friendly interface
By late September there will also be an update to cover the Ford engine plus other new applications.
The Very good news is that there will be a very low cost expansion card
to connect to the Evolution so that it will be possible to connect to analog
thermocouple sensors (PT100-PT1000) and different temperature /pressure sensors and be able to operate threshold outputs directly from the touch display.
My opinion it's worth waiting for
    Regards
    Vince

Does this mean it will be able to work as an EGT guage with a warning alert?
    Cheers

    Hi All
I received a email from Nanocom this morning and the new Nanocom is now available for what i can see for approximately $500 looks like a good buy. I would love one but as i have just bought one of the older ones i will have to make do with it.

Yes, as well as lowering the upshift speeds. A chipped TD5 could easily cope with much lower upshift speeds, esp around town when it's just loping along. I drove a brand new Prado 4Cyl diesel in NZ a few weeks ago. The transmission shifted up at much lower road and engine speeds, reducing cabin noice and I assume improving economy a bit.

Being able to tweak the D2 ZF box shift & lock up points would be cool, but not sure what's possible ?
    Cheers

Got an update from Mattia today - Officially on sale now for $273 euro or approx $390 australian.
Now just need to check the finance before ordering one.
Has anyone bought directly from Mattia before? If so what is he like to deal with?
