Anyway long story short if you use the td5 map application and watch the turbo pressure using the Inputs functions, as you drive you get the reading in in Kpa. This showed a range of 100 to approx 210 on the deffer. So mine works OK, not sure why instruments doesn,t show in Kpa

If your sensor is kaput I would think you will not get a reading. hope this helps
Instrument mode displays in bar and shows actual turbo pressure in the manifold.

The input mode shows absolute pressure ie, combined turbo pressure and atmospheric pressure.

If your only getting 1.1bar, (110kpa) you need to adjust the wastegate valve and/or check the boost modulator hasn't seized. This can be taken out to about 1.35 - 1.4bar and it will make a sizeable difference.

Most helpful thanks. What are the steps to making these adjustments. Do you know of a pictorial guide.

Shorten the rod on the wastegate to raise the pressure, lengthen the rod to reduce the pressure.
At a reading of 110kpa, I would give it 2 full turns to shorten it and see where it goes. After that, 1/2 to 1/4 turns until you can get it to peak at about 138 - 140kpa.
