I looked up the circuit diagram and figured the pin that comes out of the BCU to Ground the headlight power wash pump relay and so i had one of my guys test it using a multimeter to check it does indeed switch to ground when he runs the output.

    @ob1:
    Cheers for the compliment.
Which Engine Management are you referring to?

    On another note for everybody,
We released BBS V1.07 today with all the recently mentioned fixes in

A big thanks to Paul From Hard Range for helping us test the Motronic RPM stuff.
D2 Motronic. In SA we do not have O2 sensors fitted.

I will direct all questions to the user site from now on. What is the name of the site? Google can not find it.

    Thanks.

We typically apply a very dynamic, pro active and adaptive approach to all of our equipments documentation.

If half a dozen or more folks ask the same question, then we clearly recognize that we must not have explained it well enough the first time round and will try to improve the explanation we already provide.

I personally wrote the description of the UK police mode option in the P38 BeCM almost 17 years ago, and since then it has been sufficient explanation enough for many thousands of owners and investors of our equipment.

The nanocom forum site is not actually active yet.
We do however expect it to be so in a few days ;-)

Just a bug report in V1.07,

    D2 Valeo BCU INPUT TEST
Turn signal, left shows right and right show left.
    Minor but it does work.

    Cheers LOVEMYRANGIE

It may be a minor problem, but then it was a minor job to fix, in this case it was fixed in the code within just 15 minutes of me reading your bug report.

Nanocom EVO 1 with firmware 1.06 - sometimes when I read out faults from some ECU, and there are no faults logged in ECU, it shows a new window with no faults message, sometimes, only empty list of faults. I think, it should always show the new window with no faults message. In previous firmwares it was same.

    Hiya madtom
Yes i have noticed a lack of standardization between the same events occurring on different ECU's. Its a little bit the same on the EVO but not as bad.

Although it only window dressing and does not affect the functionality of the units, it is still on my "to do" list

Speaking of ticking things off the "to do" list, in post 32 of this thread greg-g highlighted a false triggering of the Over temperature warning.

I believe we have solved this in BBS V1.08 which has just been released yesterday

We have also provided a separate version change log of all changes in past BBS version updates as well as the BBS 1.08 one.

G'Day Colin. May I add my appreciation to you and your team for directly engaging with your customers so openly. Thanks, also, for the Christmas special offer. I took the offer.
I've had limited time to explore the functionality of the EVO, but 1 issue has arisen.
Recently removed and replaced the autobox and the SLABS has locked itself into Transportation mode and despite several attempts at disabling the setting, it refuses to comply.
    Any assistance would be welcome.
    Regards, Dave

    Hiya Dave.
Thanks for your comments of appreciation. We certainly have nothing to hide and genuinely try our best at all times. We ain't perfect by any means, but i think most appreciate the fact that we don't pretend to be. Our being open and publicly engaging with owners about problems and stuff certainly benefits and helps everyone achieve what we all want.

Glad to hear you are still enjoying your Christmas Pressie.

    Regards your transport mode issue.
This is most odd, the Autobox has absolutely no connection to if the Slabs is in transport mode or not.
Is the Evo showing it is in transport mode and the vehicle showing some sign that it actually is in transport mode.

Are you changing the setting, writing it and then reading back an un changed setting.
I certainly have not heard of this happening with anyone else and in fact recently someone tested the Transport mode without problem.

I recall reading something once about there being some physical button press sequence that can also get the Slabs out of transport mode. Probably in the workshop manual etc.

This might be worth looking up and trying ;-)

    Regards Colin

G'Day Colin, and you are welcome. Thanks also for participating here on your holidays, a sign of the truly commited (or that you should be committed ; ))
Yes, I am disabling the transportation mode setting, confirming and writing the setting. Switch off, wait 60. not holding.
Yes the suspension is sitting on the bump stops.
Haven't been able to locate manual disable instructions on AULRO or in RAVE. Still looking
I didn't think the gearbox and suspension were directly linked, but thought there might be a 'Major repairs' setting that includes Transport mode hidden in the code.
Also on my EVO, The Engine is locked for readings and Settings. Another code needed?
I entered the 1st and 3rd codes as directed but to no avail.
    Regards, DAve.
