    I just ordered a Nanocom

Well it had to be done, I just been in contact with Colin from BBS and I orded a Nanocom evo2. Price is 330.27euro with the forum discount, very happy.

Any tips from current users into the set up.

Unfortunately there is no thread titled "Everything you ever wanted to know about what your Nanocom can do for you".

And until I get around to making a list of all the Nanocom-related links I've been collecting for the past year I won't start such a thread...

It sounds tedious but there is a way to become more familiar with some of the tricks this device can perform - go to the last page (currently 16 IIRC) in this Electronic Diagnostics sub forum and start reading through the threads that are Nanocom related.

When your unit arrives post back some specific questions and I'm sure you will get some assistance though.

    Happy reading Mark!

    Ok, here's a taster.

There is one section on the BBS site that gives a breakdown of what the various vehicle systems are and what their equipment, ie. your Nanocom Evolution 2, can do.

This is the page. Choose a selection from the menu structure on the left. I am unfamiliar with the Defender but have some experience with the Discovery 2. Therefore I can't assist you by suggesting which of these menus to look at, sorry.

Once your Nanocom arrives I would spend some time on these pages of the BBS site getting familiar with the various settings that can be meddled with.

Take a look at this page on the BBS site:

    http://www.blackbox-solutions.com/do...age_lists.html

Each pdf contains links to the modules relevant to the vehicle chosen.

    Defender:

    http://www.blackbox-solutions.com/do...r_Defender.pdf

    Discovery 2:

    http://www.blackbox-solutions.com/do...scovery_II.pdf

The pricing is the purchase price for an unlimited access unlock code for the module running on a Faultmate MSV-2
